Mr. Andres Muñiz Vega was born in New London, Conn. USA and raised in New York City and Camuy, Puerto Rico, a city he has called hometown. As a young man, he was particularly drawn to the martial arts that spark ignited that grew into a deeper interest and passion for the training.  Trained in Kung-Fu (Daniel Vargas), Carlos Enrique "Quique El Boho" Santana Castillo & Anibal Lopez (Kickboxing), Rafael Ortiz, Sergio Colon, Master Ramon Mateo & GM Hwang S. Kwang (ITF Taekwon-Do) and Chu Maldonado (Boxing).  Promoted, certify or recognized in ITF Taekwondo or martial arts Ranks by Master Sergio Colon, Master Ramon Mateo, Dr. Andres J. Mencia, Grandmaster Hwang S. Kwang, GM Richard Parris, GM Choi Jung Hwa, GM Mario Pons & GM Don Dalton and Kickboxing by World Kickboxing League (WKL), Korea Taekwon-Do Combat Association & the International Taekwon-Do Forum. Certified as Instructor Sambo & Combat Sambo under the Department of Development of the Federation International Amateur Sambo (FIAS). 

 

Enter officially the ITF in 1995 under the Guidance of GM Hwang S. Kwang, 9th Dan (KATU-ITF) & Dr. Andres J. Mencia, (IITO-ITF) representing Puerto Rico with the express knowledge of GM Benny Rivera from Puerto Rico. Participated in over 200 Taekwon-Do and martial arts events from 1989 - 2020 in Puerto Rico, USA, Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, South Korea, Croatia, Iran and others. Organized over 21 Kickboxing events and 15 regional tournaments and national championships in the north-western region in Puerto Rico, including the 1st Open ICTF Intercontinental Cup in Lares, Puerto Rico in 2009. In 2009 received the Legal authorization for the usage of ITF logos by GM Charles Sereff, 9th Dan ITF (Owner ITF Trademarks in the USA). Represented diverse ITF Style & Kickboxing organizations in Puerto Rico. Open the doors that permitted the sports of Kickboxing (WAKO), Muay Thai (IFMA) and Sambo (FIAS) to be represented in Puerto Rico. Founding President of the Federacion Muay Thai de Puerto Rico (MUAYTHAI-PUR).

(3rd Degree) Black Belt ITF Taekwon-Do)

Mr. Neftali Velez have over 30 years in the martial arts including ITF Taekwondo, Aikijitsu and Krav Maga. Have participated in diverse martial arts championships in Puerto Rico and abroad especially the "Batalla del Caribe" achieving 1st Place in Patterns & Sparring including 1st place in Kickboxing.  In 1989 had 2 martial arts schools open in Aguada & Añasco, Puerto Rico.
